Los Mares means “The Oceans” in Spanish. It is a reminder of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans that surround the beloved country of Costa Rica where Shirley Edwards was born. The staff at Los Mares are natives of Santo Domingo, an island in the Caribbean. They have perfected a method of styling and caring for natural and relaxed hair that is unmatched by other countries. The products that are used are all natural and made of a number of tropical fruits that include avocado, mango and cucumber.
